My Story
Having lived and studied in Minnesota for the past 10 years, I am currently in a PhD program at UMN, specializing in machine learning and computer vision.
A few months into the pandemic, I found myself with the so-called “Zoom Fatigue”, as did a lot of people around me. Meetings, chats, and happy hours all just became a daily ritual of staring at 5 faces on my laptop screen – it is a phone call with a webcam. I felt disconnected and disengaged in conversations and collaborations, which, for a research student, are the most important factors in driving innovations.
That is why I started Mirage – a solution that combines the best from both in-person and remote work. As all of us transition into a new age of working, I hope to bridge that personal connection for teams and companies all over the world.
